Marcia Sweigert is the founder and principal of Denver-based Marcia Sweigert Interiors. Marcia is an award-winning interior designer, with over 25 years of experience designing luxury residential homes, and commercial interiors in Los Angeles, Chicago and Denver.

Marcia’s work has been featured in Modern Luxury Interiors, MKE Lifestyle, AD PRO, and other notable publications.

Marcia combines an upscale sensibility with a down to earth personality. She is friendly and humorous, while always maintaining her professionalism.

Marcia’s passion for design developed when she was a child, observing her parents lovingly restore their turn-of-the-century home in the Chicago suburbs.  She was given the freedom to design her own bedroom as a teen and she used her creativity, drawing, and problem solving skills to design and build her first piece of furniture.

Marcia then worked towards her B.S. Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at California State University, Dominquez Hills, specializing in Interior Design. Marcia earned both her A.S. Degree in Interior Design and an A.A. Degree in Liberal Arts from Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California.

Marcia has spent many years honing her craft, combining her innate talent, curated sense of style, education, and project management experience to bring the highest level of design and service to her clients.  She greatly values the relationships that she has built with her clients in the 20 years she has been in business. Marcia listens intently to her clients and always strives to design unique solutions for their spaces, combining both beauty and function, while supporting health and wellness.

A WELL AP since 2021, and holding a certificate in Health and Wellness from the U.S. Green Building Council, Marcia understands the pivotal role design plays in creating spaces which support health and wellness, and educates her clients on this essential aspect of design.

Marcia is a Certified Living in Place Professional (CLIPP), designing spaces that support seniors so that they may live vibrantly and independently.

Marcia is also an NCIDQ-licensed interior designer and teaches courses training fellow interior design professionals to prepare for and pass their NCIDQ exam.

When Marcia isn’t busy managing her interior design firm, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two college-aged daughters.  She also likes to lift weights, take walks in nature, and tend to her garden.
